Seiyuu: Yamaguchi Kappei

Outgoing and short, Nagakura is Captain of the second unit, and seems like another (less-aggressive) version of Tetsu. Nagakura and Harada Sanosuke are very close friends, and the two are rarely seen far from each other. Nagakura, Harada and Toudou Heisuke make up what the Shinsengumi call the 'Comedian Three' (or the "comic trio", or the "three stooges").

Despite his small stature, he can defeat larger opponents with ease. He has a strong sense of justice and hates seeing others being bullied. He will always help a friend in need, but is very competitive and likes to win.
