Seiyuu: Nagashima Yuuko

A sweet, friendly and motherly woman to the members of the Shinsengumi, she is the cook and housekeeper. She's even-tempered, and cares deeply about Susumu (her younger brother), even though they seem to have a very strained relationship. Susumu is a shinobi of the Shinsengumi, and this clearly worries her a great deal, causing her to be sleepless on the nights when he is out gathering information. She never speaks openly of her relationship with Susumu.

Ayumu is a fantastic cook; a fact that is evidenced in episode 6, where her super-size meal marathon prize spurred heavy competition (and even cheating) to complete the marathon (especially Sano, Toudou and Nagakura)!

Not very much else is known about her, but those who follow the series long enough with find an interesting (and very sad) surprise...
