1) How much information should I send?

 

     The basic information I want is: the character's name, the full name of the anime/manga (no games, please, unles it has been animated), and a brief personal biography (one paragraph minimum). If you know the character's age, first appearance, and any aliases that would be great, but it isn't necessary. You must send me a summary in your own words, do not copy and paste from another site. Somebody worked hard to write up that information and they don't want it to be stolen.

 

2) Hello! I can't check the formatting and read the rules at the same time!

 

     I'm very particular about the formatting, so you don't need to worry about getting it correct, I'll take care of that part. All I ask is that you send me any information in the body of the e-mail. My computer does something really wierd when I open atttachments so I can't read them. I can only read English, so please send all submissions in English.

 

3) You have a lot of pictures.

     A site like this just isn't the same without pictures.^^ You must send in a picture of any new characters you are submitting. I would prefer a full body picture in color, but I understand this ideal isn't always possible. I will not post any nude pictures. If you send me a group shot, please make sure the focus is on the redhead.I have tried to post only pictures that look like screen caps or scans and ask that you do the same. You may only send me a fan made picture to post if you are the artist or have obtained permission from the artist to use it. If you do send me a fan made picture, please make sure it gives a good representation of the character.

 

4) Define what you mean by "red."

     Most of the characters on this site have bright red hair, such as Gene. However, I also accept auburn - such as Enju - red-brown - such as Toboe - and characters who only have red hair in an altered form - such as Kazuma. Note: Any characters submitted in an altered form must be a male humanoid.

 

5) What is this "fanlisting/webshrine" thing you keep listing at the bottom og the page?

 

     I don't know what a fanlisting is, my cousin was the one who added those here. A webshrine is a site that is mainly about a certain character, or a pairing. I do not require links to such sites when submitting new characters. However if you have a favorite please feel free to send me the link!

 

6) My cat knows more about these characters than the information you provide!

 

     I'll admit, the profiles on some of the characters here is rather sketchy. If you can contribute more information, such as age, aliases, or a more detailed biography then by all means send it to me! I'll try my best to add it.

 

7) My favorite bishonen isn't a redhead.

 

     There are a lot of other cool characters out there that aren't redheads. ^^ For that reason, I have added the "Bishonen of the month" section. If you have a favorite bishonen you would like to see here, then by all means submit him! ^^ Note: The information and picture requirements are the same for this section as the are for the pyro bishies section.

 

8) Do you except fanart/fanfiction submissions?

 

     No. I used to run a site for both, but it was too hard to maintain. I do have a section titled "Fanfiction of the month" where I will link to a specific fanfiction. I will choose the fanfiction each month, I don't plan to accept suggestions for this section. If you would like to find sites that do accept fanart/fanfiction then please visit my Links page.
